GETTING
AROUND |
| Unless you're looking for a real-ahem-French experience, try to avoid taking a taxi to and from the airport. The RER and metro will save you some cash, but if traveling with lots of people and bags, a shuttle is the way to go. A taxi charges around 40€ for two, then they add on fees for suitcases, bags and boxes. |

These links will give you some ideas about staying/living in France. For example, to avoid the long lines outside the Louvre, go to a FNAC ticket agent first and get your tickets there. Then you can march right up to the front at the Louvre. FNAC is a huge record/book/video chain, with branches throughout Paris. |
