Rental Agreement

   

 

This Rental Agreement is between ____________________(Client) and ____________________(Owner), for the rental of the apartment located at:

The parties agree as follows:

1. Term of this rental shall be for dates of _____________ through __________.

2. Rental fee shall be ________ per _______, to be paid at the beginning of rent cycle.

3. Rental fee shall include all utilities (specifically, electricity, water, heating, garbage collection, internet access, TV), building maintenance, and cleaning for your arrival and after your departure, bedding & towels, and all relevant taxes.

Rental fee excludes any charges incurred by use of the phone. These charges shall be paid by the Client on a weekly basis, or deducted from the security deposit.

4. Client shall provide a security deposit of 500 upon execution of this agreement. If Client is unable to sign this agreement, he/she may delegate a third party to do it for him/her, in which case the third party shall be able to sign this agreement in the name of the Client. This deposit will be used in case of damage to the apartment, the furniture in the apartment, loss of a key or of any property in the apartment, or to pay your phone bill.

A 40 cleaning charge will be deducted if the apartment is not in a normal state of cleanliness upon your departure.

The deposit may be paid by a Euro check or money order. If all is in order upon checkout, the deposit will be returned immediately, otherwise we will deduct accordingly. If loss or damage exceeds the security deposit, Client agrees to pay the excess costs in full. Client shall only be liable for loss or damage caused by Client or guests of Client.  Client and Owner shall go through the apartment together on the day of checkout to verify that all is in order.

Client shall read and sign the Apartment Inventory List, and accepts full responsibility for undue damage and/or loss of said items in the Apartment Inventory List.

5. Apartment will be available for check-in between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., unless other guests are departing on the day of your arrival. In that case, check-in will be between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Check-out will be no later than 12 noon, except by special arrangement and as circumstances allow.

6. Client agrees to commit no act that could disturb the tranquility of the other residents of the building where the rental occurs. Any disorderly or unruly behavior is the sole responsibility of the Client; the Owner relinquishes complete and absolute responsibility if a third party is involved.

7. Client must comply with building regulations.

8.The Owner cannot, under any circumstance, be held responsible, by you and your party, for any and all personal injuries, damage to apartment during rental, or loss/damage/theft to Client's personal property.

9. The Client is responsible for any defacement to the apartment during his/her stay. The Client shall exercise reasonable caution to prevent theft, including locking all doors and windows during his/her absence from the apartment. In the event of a theft caused by Client's lack of reasonable caution, the Client agrees to be responsible for Owner's items and furnishings lost in that theft.

10. In the event of an early departure, for whatever reason, the agreed rental amount remains unchanged. The owner will make no refunds of rental payments after occupancy.

11. The owner has the right to evict, without any prior warning, all Clients who do not adhere to the above stated terms in this agreement.

12. NO CONTRACT SHALL EXIST UNTIL THE DEPOSIT AND THE SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT ARE RECEIVED BY THE OWNER FROM THE CLIENT.
 
I wish to reserve the Paris apartment requested above. I agree that this reservation is subject to the conditions detailed in this agreement. I am authorized to agree to these conditions on my own behalf and on behalf of all persons in my party. I am signing this form and returning it to the Owner along with the above-referenced security/rental deposit in order to secure my reservation.
